LECTURE FREE, STUDENT WEEK!!!

LECTURE FREE, STUDENT WEEK!!!

The one week lecture free, also known as the Student Week which was granted the permission by the School Authority to take place for the first time in the Nigeria Institute of Journalism in the year 2011, after a persistence protest by some student in the Institute is now progressively taking stand as a part of the school activity.

This annually activity always comes up in the second semester on the School Calendar. The Free Week which is Fun Filled, consist of programs like debate, assembly of students just like the one’s we use to have in our primary and secondary school days, Beauty Pageant, Football Game, which comprises of the student and the school officials Expose of Talent, Presentations and Speech Making, Red Carpet Show, Cultural Day, Book Launching and the Rag Day, which do not only create an avenue for student to make money, but using the medium to create awareness to member’s of the Public about the institute.

It’s another year, the year 2013, and the student week is around the corner, and its ever first meeting has been held in the school auditorium, and the discussion of the meeting comprises of things to do, what’s new to do, place to go and how to go about achieving them.

Obviously, with the initiation of new ideas by both student and lecturer’s of the institute, this year’s student week activity is quite promising to turn out colorfully.

Sponsorship and more Idea are absolutely welcome by all.
Just keep sending your suggestion.
